AV Proconnect AC-MX44-AUHD REPORT

So after a long strange journey which ended up feeling like an impossible quest or mission impossible if you will, Amazon was ready to fire me as a customer. I had tried over a two month period seven of their latest HDMI 1X2 and or 1X4 splitters. Many of them claimed HDR and 4K60 compatible. They all lied! They would all have dropouts or flat out not work with DirecTV 4K. Some would not work with HDR as well. It was getting frustrating since I have my Datasat RS20i receiving audio from the Oppo 203 UHD HDR 4K Blu-ray player while the other HDMI out is going to my Sony VPL 5000ES projector. We like sending the image also to our restroom where a Samsung 4K HDR model is on the wall. This has proven a great solution since our guests don't have to request we pause a movie while they use the restroom. The trick has been trying to find the right splitter which works with all 4K signals. It was relatively easy when we were just dealing with 1080p. We even tried a Zigen newer model which seemed to work but still every once in awhile we would get a black out or drop which would last for a few seconds. So recently I ran across AV Pro connect who have HDMI 2.0 (a/b) Matrix Splitters which are 18Gbps and full of features which can handle all forms of 4K... Actually all features listed here:
As you can see it comes packaged very well. Setting up takes just a few minutes. It is very simple to get used to directing the inputs and outputs. You can also control it (pics below) from your home network or the included remote control. I am actually excited about the possibilities they can do with this unit through updates. It definitely has a lot of potential. Of course the performance now is why it is staying put in my rack. Be it football or 4K movies I know the AC-MX44 has all my screens covered!
I would like to thank Jared Kantack for assisting me in getting my hands on the AC-MX44-AUHD. If you would like to learn more either click below or call him at (605)-782-2466.
Whatever your needs I am sure they have you covered. For both business and home. They also have this version with 8 HDMI inputs and outputs. Outstanding!

I would also like to thank my Wife Jaclyn and our twin girls Mila and Raelynn. Though they are only 9 months old we have plenty of fun ahead in our theater. Finally those Disney movies will start to see some action! Anyway, I like thanking them for allowing me to spend some time doing my Reviews and Reports (like this one). Of course it is more fun doing them with them!
